2 Light Kinds of cheese

I am a big fan of cheese, and I try as much as I can to stay away from the yellow kinds!

Yesterday I got 2 kinds of cheese that I would like to talk about :)

1- The cottage cheese:

Cottage cheese is a product of cheese curd but unlike most cheese, which is dehydrated and has color, this type of cheese retains its whey content because it is only drained, unlike other cheeses.

So it is light, nutritious and very rich in whey protein!

Per 100 grams:

107 kcal, 9.3 g protein, 5 g carbohydrates, 5.5 grams fat

 

2- The Laughing cow:

 I got the light creamy swiss one, you can find the garlic and the onion flavor as well...

 All with 50 % less fat

Per Wedge:

35 kcal, and only 1.5 grams of fat

 

Indulge yourself  for breaksfat or dinner with these 2 delicious nutritious cheese exactly like I am doing! :D

    The cottage cheese, is to be used with what. How do you consume that?

    Hi pam,
    The cottage cheese usually can be used for pasta cooking, in salads, or even as a dip for some crunchy vegetables..
    You can also toss your tomato, or your baked potato for example with it . I also like to eat it with the spoon with some olives! :)
