“Rehydrate! Replenish! Refuel!! ” That’s Gatorade slogan!

As you sweat, you surely lose fluids, but you can also deplete the body of  some important minerals and electrolytes in your body, such as sodium, calcium, potassium, magnesium and chloride. When these electrolytes are low,  fatigue, confusion, weakness and cramping may occur!!!

That’s why Gatorade is more than just water! It is a sports drink with all the prime minerals and electrolyte (which are not all present in water), needed for your balance!
Water is important for sure but it depends on the amount of sweat you produce whether a sports drink, like Gatorade, is better for hydration than water.

Gatorade is made of:

Water, Sucrose, Glucose-Fructose syrup, Citric Acid, Electrolytes ( Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium), Natural flavorings black carrot concentrate, natural apple extract, safflower extract emulsifiers.

Gatorade were given to people during the ” Light torch Event, 2012″.

It is the number one sports drink, available in 3 flavours: Cool blue, Orange and tropical.

Gatorade can also be taken during Ramadan, when breaking the fast as it is extremely rich in electrolyres that can be lost after long hours of fasting!
