What's the Healthiest Breakfast?!

My clients and my friends always ask me what can be a good and healthy breakfast?? Is it to have carbs like brown and multi-cereal bread or just protein with no carbs (like plain omelette, or lettuce and turkey slices) or only fruits??

Personally I say for a normal person (with no food intolerance), I can suggest a boal of oatmeal!!

In fact what's better than a whole bowl of oatmeal with milk every morning to start your day off right??

As it says, Oatmeal is made of oats which are one of the best sources of fiber!

So... How can it help you, health wise??

-  Blood cholesterol levels: Oatmeal contain a soluble fiber known as betaglucan, which increases your HDL in the blood stream. Just a bowl of oatmeal a day can help your body!

- Memory: Oatmeal contain a mix of vitamin B, which are all  important for the brain and nervous system to function properly. That's why start your morning with that to stay focused and alert the whole day!

- Fighting cancer: Oatmeal  contain a lot of  fiber which according to the American Cancer Society helps the body to fight against bile acids, and their toxicity, and thus lowers the risks of cancer.

- Weight loss:

The fiber in oatmeal makes you feel full for a longer time. You don't feel the urge to munch between your meals. It also  prevents constipation. So Start your day with one bowl of oatmeal that only has about 150 calories per 1 bowl.

As mentionned above, One bowl contains in average 150 calories.

When adding low-fat milk to it, it makes 250 calories! (perfect to start your day with!!)

But...

stay away from the flavored oatmeal because they are usually full of sugar ;)
